A very nice little, quiet rest area with running water (at least in July).

Historical monument is a short few steps from the parking lot. Picnic tables with pergolas covering them for a nice cool stop-off for a bite. The building was not open when we were there.

We stumbled across this place while looking for a place to stop for the night. Gift shop/Information center was closed for the season so we set up our trailer in the parking lot. Very interesting history to the place with well kept grounds with historical marker, worth the stop.
